The Theology of the Body is a collection of 129 separate weekly talks Pope John Paul II delivered between 1979 and 1984 to address what he felt was one of the greatest areas of confusion and source of misunderstanding about God and the Church.  This revolutionary teaching on the Catholic understanding of human sexuality has transformed thousands who have encountered in the two and half decades since it was delivered.  JPII explains the glory of the human body as a manifestation of God, from which flow all of the church's teachings on topics from sexual morality to bioethics.
