Spirit Reins

This ranch in Liberty Hill, TX, just north of Austin, has helped dozens of children through alternate therapy for special needs and at-risk individuals.   The mission of the ranch is to empower children and give them a message of hope.  The ranch= relies heavily on volunteer labor and donations to operate.  We typically provide whatever manual labor services, interact with the horses, and learn about how the camp works, all before sharing a meal together.  Look for this opportunity at least twice a semester -- you will have a very good time.

Down Home Ranch

This ranch in Elgin, TX, just east of Austin, is a place that provides camps, employment, and residency for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  We usually go out and make ourselves available for a variety of service projects from landscaping and gardening to clearing brush and even building cabins.  This is an amazing experience you will really enjoy being a part of.
